My grandma’s house had a screened-in porch with a twin bed in one corner. That’s where I always slept when I visited. A cotton quilt she had pieced together with her two aging hands had always covered that bed. Not long before she died, she asked me if I wanted any of the trinkets in her house. I said, “No. But I’d like that quilt.” She smiled, “Always been yours anyway.”
Inspired by that quilt my grandmother made, our Cannon Quilted Pullover has no fancy fabrics, just good old dependable cotton and polyester for the lining. And the diamond pattern will bring to mind those soft quilts we used to sleep under back when the world was quieter.
Our Cannon pullover is at home in the office or the field, or of course, wearing it while falling asleep on a porch is, as grandma used to say, “right as rain.”

"This is great design, and very functional from a warmth perspective, however the quality wasn’t great. I had to cut away loose threads throughout the pullover, and the cuff was sewn with a black thread that can’t be cut away. For the price, I excepted a superior quality build. Some may also find the material of the collar bothersome. A quick tweak to the collar (a soft poly or neoprene) and better attention to the construction would make this a 5 star pullover"
